About the Scholarship

Every entrepreneur’s story begins with courage — the courage to start something new, to take risks, and to build a future from possibility. For many immigrants, that courage carries the added challenge of building a business in a new country, with new systems, new networks, and often, no clear path forward.

The Entrepreneur Growth Scholarship was created to make that path a little clearer — and a little more supported. Through a partnership between Immigrant Entrepreneur Canada (IEC) and PMC Training, this program recognizes that we all need help to get where we’re going. It brings together learning and community to help entrepreneurs strengthen their skills and their confidence, while connecting with others who share their drive.

Each year, a small group of Immigrant Entrepreneurs are selected to take part in this shared and unique learning journey — one that combines free access to PMC’s business-skills workshops, peer connection, and shared celebration of progress.

What’s Included

Selected Immigrant Entrepreneurs receive more than a scholarship — they join a community built to help their ideas grow.

A full year of free access

to PMC Training’s open-enrollment workshops — covering business, leadership, and personal development skills that make an everyday difference.

A 25% discount

for their organization on all PMC open-enrollment workshops throughout the scholarship year.

Quarterly pulse sessions

— virtual gatherings that bring the cohort together to share progress, challenges, and insights with support from both IEC and PMC.

A chance to be seen and celebrated

through storytelling that highlights the diverse journeys of immigrant entrepreneurs nationwide.

Together, these elements turn learning into momentum — helping entrepreneurs strengthen their skills, expand their networks, and keep moving toward the future they imagine.

Who Can Apply

The Entrepreneur Growth Scholarship is looking for entrepreneurs who are ready to grow their skills and share their journey.

Each year, six Immigrant Entrepreneurs are selected to form a small national cohort — a group large enough to learn together, yet small enough for every participant’s voice to be heard.

You’re encouraged to apply if you:

☑ Are an Immigrant Entrepreneur.

☑ Are the owner and/or founder of your business — including solo-preneurs and self-employed professionals.

☑ Can commit to participating in virtual quarterly pulse sessions during the scholarship year.

☑ Your business is based in Canada

☑ We welcome entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, sectors, and regions across Canada.
